About Julie

Hi! I’m Julie Clark, the creator behind the recipes at Tastes of Lizzy T. I started this site with my daughter Maddie as her 6th grade school project, and it quickly turned into a way for us to share our love of cooking with families around the world.

I learned how to cook from my mom and grandmas, and I spent my high school years making dinner for my family almost every night. Over the years, I’ve soaked up everything I could from old church cookbooks and hands-on time in the kitchen. While I don’t have a formal culinary degree, I’ve trained through experience, family tradition, and a deep passion for good food.

I believe home cooking doesn’t have to be intimidating. My goal is to help home cooks feel confident in the kitchen—with recipes that work, tips that make a difference, and clear instructions every step of the way.
