There are two things in this world that I may not be able to live without. Thanksgiving and pizza. Ok…so maybe there are more important things in life, but these two things, rank sky-high on my list of loves.

This recipe combines those two favorites, Thanksgiving leftovers and pizza, to make this Green Bean Casserole Pizza that you definitely need to try.

This Thanksgiving pizza recipe using naan bread comes together quickly in about 15 minutes and will help you savor those Thanksgiving flavors in a whole new way.

How To Make Green Bean Casserole Pizza

  • Prepare. Preheat the oven to 400ยบF. Place the naan on a flat baking sheet.
  • Add the turkey. Top the naan with leftover shredded turkey. If you don’t have any Thanksgiving turkey left, you can also use deli turkey or even roasted chicken.
  • Add green bean casserole. Spoon some leftover green bean casserole over the turkey. No green bean casserole left? Warm 1 can of green beans (drained) in a saucepan along with ½ cup cream of mushroom soup. Once this is heated through, spoon it over the turkey. Voila. Make-shift green bean casserole! Don’t forget to sprinkle french-fried onions overtop the green bean casserole.
  • The savory butter drizzle. Take ¼ cup melted butter and mix in salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Drizzle this over the Thanksgiving pizzas. The butter and spices will bake into the mini pizzas to give my favorite flavor of thanksgiving, my grandma’s turkey stuffing!
  • Bake pizzas for 10 minutes. Everything will get heated through and the naan will get slightly crispy from the butter cooking at its edges.

Recipe Variations

  • Don’t want to use naan bread? Make our sourdough pizza crust. Or use a tortilla for a thin crust pizza.
  • Add cheese! A sprinkle of mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese works well.
  • More veggies. Add mushrooms or onions.
  • Have leftover mashed potatoes? Spread a little bit on the bottom of the pizza before adding the turkey.

And next, try our green bean casserole with chicken!

The family was hovering while I baked these green bean casserole pizzas. “Are you done yet, Mom? You’re killing us with that aroma!” I think I found our new way to eat Thanksgiving leftovers. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, Lizziy,
I always used store bought crust ( so easy).however, your recipe inspired me and I will try to make it. I also just got a tube of 30 cookie cutters and, as per your idea, will use them to cut out shapes from the pie crusts
