Who loves fluffy, light, fruit filled desserts? ย If you said, “Yes!”, this dessert is for you.

With summer just around the corner and berries ripening all around us, I’ve been craving fruit desserts. Sweet endings to meals that involved those gorgeous berries.

This recipe is based off the frosting for our Pig Pickin’ cake. People love that frosting and we thought it would make a great summer dip.

What you’ll love about this recipe:

  • low calorie option

What you’ll need to make triple berry fruit dip:

This Triple Berry Fruit Dip is simply just 3 ingredients. ย

  • vanilla pudding
  • Cool Whip
  • berries
blueberries, raspberries and strawberries on a cutting board

How to Make Fluffy Fruit Dip

You’ll only need about 5 minutes to mix up this recipe.

cool whip over cut berries in a bowl

In a medium-size bowl, mix the fruit with the pudding powder. This might seem strange, but just mix it will equally distribute that vanilla pudding powder to all the fruit.

Fold in the Cool Whip.

What to Serve with Fruit Dip

Whenever I have a fluffy, pudding dessert, I always think of pie crust. ย Most likely because of my extreme love of pudding pies. ย When I thought of making this dip, I knew right away that I needed to make some stars out of pie crust to scoop up the dip with. ย Pure and delightful enjoyment there.

Thinking of something a little different? Try one of these:

  • vanilla wafers
  • pretzels
  • shortbread cookies
  • sugar cookie
  • graham crackers

Or just eat it by the spoonful, which is what we did after the pie crust stars were gone.

Lightened Up Triple Berry Fruit Trip

This can also be a great Weight Watchers dessert if you use sugar free vanilla pudding and fat free or light Cool Whip. ย I’m not sure the pie crust stars fit the Weight Watchers plan, but that’s where a spoon can come in handy. ๐Ÿ™‚

How long can you keep this dip?

You can make this dip up to one day in advance. Plan to eat it within 2 days of cutting the fruit. After that amount of time, the fruit may get too ripe.
